Bralettes have my ongoing love and I can’t get enough of them. If you check out any style feed, you’ll see I’m not the only one. When they emerged on the scene a few years ago I bought 1 then 2 then uhmmmm, some more? I just can’t remember how many, in case my husband’s reading ?? Bralettes are so stylish, feminine and functional, adding the perfect touch of flair to your outfit. Literally a touch. Just a few straps or a bit of lace exposed. Intentional and not overdone. I’m here to show you how to style bralettes for every season.
Given they layer so well with tanks, they really can be worn all year long. Wear them with sundresses, tanks or t-shirts in spring and summer. Layer under sweaters & long-sleeves in the fall and winter. And for those transition months, just throw on a cardigan. And bonus: any off-shoulder or boatneck piece always pairs very nicely with a bralette.
Ranging from $14.99 @Amazon to $38 @Nordstrom, they are a very good investment while being fairly inexpensive. Here are some basic tips for styling bralettes:

Tip 1: If your bralettes aren’t padded (the Free People ones below are not), take an insert out of any other bralette or athletic top and tuck it right in. I’ve never had a case where it falls out but if you’re nervous, here are some fashion tape options.

Tip 2: Don’t put your bralettes in the dryer! And preferably, delicate wash, but I get that’s pushing it with busy schedules. Just take care of them, and let them air dry. They are lace, after all ?
