It’s the 70th year that the tiny island community of New Castle has held a Christmas Fair. You won’t want to miss this one! To commemorate such an accomplishment, the ladies of the Guild plan to revive some of the former ideas from past fairs, such as Parcel Post, Dandies, and Fancy Work. Of course, you will still find those tables you have come to love and expect, such as Handmade Crafts, Wreaths and Greens, Bake Table, Gift Baskets, Jewelry, Scarves, Red Elephants and Silent Auction.

December 10

Holiday Open House (Kensington | 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.) :: Santa Claus is coming to the Farm at Eastman’s Corner to tell a story to the children and greet them. Take a picture with Santa and make sure to tell him what you would like for Christmas. Remember that we are here to help you, just like Santa’s little elves. We will be sampling out our prepared meals, activities for the kids, and Christmas trees!
