If you are looking for a way to light up the town with your friends at night, easy lessons or just to shake your groove thing, there are so many options for a great time right here with these dance spots on the Seacoast! (If you’re looking for Kids’ Dance Classes on the Seacoast, we’ve got you covered).

1,2,3… 1,2,3… Dance Classes for Adults

My youngest fell in the love with costumes of ballroom dance but over the past year has come to love the different styles of dance offered in the ballroom world:  hustle, cha cha, rumba, waltz, the list goes on. If you are looking to get ready for your first wedding dance, want to learn moves as a couple or just take a single or group class, you have lots of options. Arthur Murray North Hampton, Krystal Ballroom and Portsmouth Ballroom are just a few of the places to learn how to fox trot the night away!

Moms’ Night Out!

Listen, if you are a mom you need an easy night out that doesn’t involve long drives to the city, overpriced drinks and being surrounded by 20 somethings (no offense). Oh and that also starts at a decent hour and ends early enough for you to still be able to get up and make your kids breakfast! Look no further than Breakers Lounge at the Ashworth by the Sea. With a live DJ 9-1130pm Friday and Saturday nights playing all the songs you actually KNOW and love to dance to, it is the perfect, easy Moms’ night out!

Bachata y Salsa!

If you have not tried Bachata or Salsa, you need to! Bachata is easy to pick up and my personal favorite! Social dancing is all about the dance and the music without the smarmy, uncomfortable, hookup feeling. Respect for your partner and just enjoying the dance is one of the basic tenets of the social dance scene. Most places offer a lesson before dancing starts so you can learn the basics and work on your partner skills. Check out the Copacabana Salsa Night on Wednesdays in Manchester  or you can start with the basics and learn the dances in a class setting at Salsa Secrets in Portsmouth or Bella Vita in Manchester.

Feel like wearing your cowboy boots instead?

How about the Boot Scootin Boogie? If country music is your thing, country line dancing is SO fun and easy for the beginner to pick up. Have a night out on the town at the Saddle Up Saloon in Kingston, NH.

As James Howe says “Life is short and there will always be dirty dishes, so let’s dance!”
