What to expect from Seacoast Moms Easter Bunny House Visits
What will the Easter Bunny look like?
We know some kiddos get nervous with mascots and dressed up characters — we don’t want anyone feeling surprised or scared. The Easter Bunny will be a person in a head-to-toe plush costume. Check out our IG Reels for a sneak peek and feel free to show your kiddos so they know what to expect!
What will the Easter Bunny do at our visit?
The Easter Bunny won’t talk but rather act silly, dance around and deliver your family’s Easter goody bag. The Bunny will stay outside. You can come out and greet the Bunny or you can stay inside and wave. Up to you (and the weather!).
How long will the Easter Bunny stay at my house?
Not long! Because there are so many children to visit, it will be a quick visit. Short and sweet (emphasis on the sweet).
Can we approach the Bunny? Take pictures?
Yes! Absolutely! Pictures are welcome. The person wearing the costume’s face will be covered and they will also be wearing a mask. We are committed to making this experience as safe as possible by keeping our interactions outside and brief.
What about inclement weather?
The Bunny isn’t scared of some rain or wind (or even a little snow!). In the event we have to reschedule do to ice or snow, our make up day is Saturday, April 3rd.
What is in the goody bags?
A lot of fun things, actually! Our title sponsor, Acorn School of Stratham, is providing a few family-centered activities and crafts. Known for their commitment to imaginative play, we’re confident your kiddos will enjoy their offerings. Additionally, each child will receive a treat from Southern Girl Bakery of Portsmouth. There will be other fun surprises from G. Willikers and Training Wheels Occupational Therapy, too!
When will the Easter Bunny come to our house?
After you’ve bought your ticket for the correct day (either March 27th or 28th), based on your town, we will make a map of the Easter Bunny’s stops. Ticket sales close 6 days before the visits, so we will be able to give you a narrower time frame leading up to the event.
More from our sponsor:
As a school for childhood, we recognize that this time is a short but significant period in life when trust, curiosity and emotion are spontaneous and are expressed with exuberance and confidence. At Acorn, as much time and emphasis is placed on a child’s social, emotional and physical development as on his/her intellectual development. The curriculum and warm, friendly environment stimulate and challenge all aspects of the child as he/she becomes involved in learning. The whole child is considered and planned for in our everyday interactions. When a child is comfortable, self-confident and developmentally ready he/she is able to perform and succeed to his/per potential.
Acorn School encourages children to experiment, participate and have fun with an emphasis on the process rather than the product. Through creatively employing movement, art, music and theater, children embrace a curriculum emphasizing the sciences, world cultures and creative arts. We also recognize that play is a vital part of a child’s development and therefore value it as an important part of the day.
Acorn School is TimberNook certified, which provides children with unparalleled opportunities for nature play that challenge the senses and inspire creativity, imagination and independent play in the great outdoors.
Acorn School is committed to providing an enriching and safe school environment, primarily outdoors in our newly revamped outdoor learning spaces.
