Disney World's Free Dining Plan

Seacoast Moms Blog is excited to welcome guest blogger and Mickey Travels Agent, Genevieve Buck! We’ve partnered with Genevieve to share this latest promotion from Disney!

Eating Free at Disney?

Last week, Disney released their most popular promotion to date: Free Dining. It is going faster than you can say, “Chef Mickey!” Read on for more information and to learn if Disney World’s Free Dining Plan is right for your family.

The Different Options:

Value & Moderate Resorts:

With this Free Dining offer, Value Resort guests receive the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan during the promotion. The quick service plan will include 2 quick service credits and 2 snack credits per person per night of your stay. It also includes a refillable mug for your resort which can be used for unlimited soft drinks, coffee and tea. If you like to eat a healthy meal on the go and do not have too much time to spend in restaurants, then the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan is for you. Upgrading to the Disney World Free Dining Plan (explained in next section) is available at an extra cost per person for guests at these hotels.

Deluxe Resorts & Deluxe Villas:

Guests at Deluxe Resorts and Villas receive the Disney World Free Dining Plan. This Disney dining plan includes 1 table service credit, 1 quick service credit and 2 snack credits per person per night of your stay as well as a refillable mug for your resort. If you want to enjoy character meals, sit-down dinners or the all-you-can-enjoy buffets then the Disney World Free Dining Plan would be a great option.

Both dining plans can be great but it really depends on how your family will want to eat and enjoy vacation.

Do you like to sit down and take your time after a long day in the park? Or are you racing to the fireworks so only a quick service, cafeteria-style, will do? Disney has so many wonderful restaurants. There really is something for everyone in your party, even those who have allergies. If you use your credits wisely, these plans can help you save money and not overspend! I can help you plan ahead to make the most of your Disney vacation – and your budget.

If the Disney Free Dining Plan is something you would be interested in, please contact me and we can check for availability. If this promotion is not available for when you want to go, don’t worry! Disney historically offers room discounts and there is no telling what they will offer next! Rest assured they always have something up their sleeve to make your trip magical. And I am here to help you every step of the way!
